Climbers rescued from Colorado mountain

Two experienced mountain climbers nearly went too far.

The pair were near the top of Quandary Peak, one of Colorado’s highest summits at 14,253 feet.

The pair were 300 feet from the peak when they got stuck in deep snow.

They had to spend the night on the mountain.

A rescue team set out on foot but could not reach them.

A National Guard helicopter was called in to retrieve the two.

Both climbers were in good health when rescued.
