The Alameda-based Coast Guard seized over 9,000 pounds of cocaine from Jan. 26 to Feb. 1. The drug was carried in three separate vessels. The traffickers’ port of origin was not publicized.
The seized cocaine is worth about $156 million. Nine suspected drug traffickers are now in custody.
