Committee Launches Presidential Records Probe

Chairwoman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) sent a letter Tuesday to the National Archives inquiring about whether former President Donald Trump still has some of the presidential records he took out of the White House.

On Monday, in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, the Senate Judiciary Committee asked for all records related to alleged political interference by the Trump-era Justice Department.
