Velma Anne Ruth, President and Founder of ABS Community Research President, was interviewed by NTD during a  rally in Washington D.C. on Dec 12, 2020.

“I’ve done a lot of advocacy work around the world, the United States supports democracy, and the right to your vote and human rights and anti-terrorism in Iran and Egypt, Syria, Venezuela all over the world. And so what we’re seeing right now happening to us in the United States, we’ve seen it happen all over the world. ”

“So for when our friends overseas, including in Hong Kong, are negatively impacted, we don’t want that to happen to them. And that’s as we fight for our allies. And we definitely don’t want it to happen to us. So if we can prevent it from happening to us, that we can be better at defending others around the world. So most of us have been staying at our house and we haven’t done anything in terms of activism, we’ve just let the government take over, it is so important to actually get involved in politics. ”

“And it’s important to get involved in movements and let folks know that you’re not going to stand for people running over you and it’s a risk and it’s a fight, but you just got to trust God and pray that everyone’s gonna be alright, as long as you stick together.”

“Unfortunately, what’s happening right now is beyond socialism. It’s beyond communism. It’s actually about state sponsor of terrorism. So, so the battle right now in terms of evil, we’re anti-terror, we’re anti-evil, and we’re on the side of God.”

“It doesn’t matter if it’s Buddhism or Christianity, or Judaism, or Islam. It’s the similar principles of human rights that are legitimate, not that are exploited by the United Nations.”

“President Trump, we love you. We do whatever we can for you, because we know that without you, we’re not going to be able to help our country and we’re not going to be able to help our friends around the world. We believe in you.”
