Company Fined for Removing ‘Made in China’ Tags

Utah-based clothing company Lions Not Sheep is in hot water with the Federal Trade Commission. The FTC slapped it with an over $200,000 fine for falsely claiming its clothing is American-made.

The agency says the company removed clothing tags that showed its apparel was “made in China” or other countries and replaced them with fake ones that said: “Made in the USA.”
