Concerns Over Staffing Shortage as Vaccine Mandate Comes Into Force in England

From today, care home staff who haven’t had both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine will lose their job. There’s concerns the new law will worsen the existing staff shortage in the care sector, putting more pressure on the NHS with tens of thousands leaving. It comes as the government announces COVID-19 vaccines will be compulsory for all health workers in England from next spring.
