The UK prime minister recently expressed concerns over the transgender charity “Mermaids,” following a chain of damaging revelations about the organization. Reports say the charity handed out breast binders to children without their parents’ knowledge and also found one of the group’s trustees was linked to an organization promoting support for pedophiles. The Department for Education has stopped recommending the charity as a resource for schools.
