Three more verified cases of coronavirus have been found outside of China.

One is a 42-year-old woman who tested positive for the virus in South Korea after a visit to Thailand.

The other two were in Thailand, which today confirmed it had six cases.

Nine more cities in China were put on lockdown: Zhengzhou, Hangzhou, Linyi, Harbin, Ningbo, Fuzhou, Xuzhou, Nanjing, and Leqing. The closest to Wuhan, the epicenter of the coronavirus, is Zhengzhou, nearly 300 miles away. And Harbin is the furthest away, at 1,450 miles from the Russian border.

A video posted on social media shows what seems to be police in China rounding up people suspected of having the coronavirus while they resist going to the hospital.

Another video on Twitter reveals a person in uniform sitting in a monitoring room, then collapsing to the ground, where he starts shaking violently like he had a seizure.

It is not clear if he is a policeman or security personnel of an institution. The video seems to be from a security camera in the room.

Because China’s media is state-run, many people believe the situation is under control.

But a singer from China thought otherwise when he wrote a satirical song that has now gone viral. One line roughly translates to, “After brainwashing, wash your hands and your face.”
