From La Tomatina festival in Spain where people have a big tomato fight, the Calcio Fiorentino in Italy, where men compete in a strange combination of soccer and rugby, to ostrich racing in Arizona, you can list a lot of really bizarre and surprising traditions around the world. Human culture is so diverse that it is simply astonishing!
Weird and strange customs exist in almost every corner of the world. So when I say that there is a contest where the participants run down a hill that has a 1:2 gradient in order to catch a rolling cheese, don’t say “it’s impossible” 🙂
Traditionally, the competition was done by and for the people from the English village of Brockworth, but at present is open for anyone around the world. Please be warned that it is a very dangerous game and you need to be well prepared to participate in the contest.
