It looks this wood cutting machine was homemade by an ingenious guy who needs lots of firewood. Although it’s not shown in the video how it works exactly, that flywheel is turning at about 5,000 rpm, probably turning some kind of blade.
In fact this amazing machine “just” cuts long logs into short ones, with a staggering speed. It requires two people to feed logs but even then it’s shooting out the wood rather than dropping it.
This is only one of countless machines turning trees into firewood—at maximum speed. Some may even call it the incarnated ‘Four Horseman of Industrial Apocalypse.’
