A popular vacation destination in the Caribbean is also home to a dangerous communist regime. NTD spoke to Dr. Orlando Gutierrez-Boronat, the author of “Cuba: The Doctrine of The Lie.” He’s also the co-founder and spokesperson for the Cuban Democratic Directorate and a member of the Assembly of the Cuban Resistance.
He joined NTD to discuss the challenges faced by Cubans under the island’s communist regime, including economic hardship, political repression, and the suppression of individual freedoms. He highlighted the regime’s tactics to control society, such as sabotaging food production and crushing dissent, leading to a negative birth rate and the mass exodus of Cubans. He also describes being added to the “terrorist list” run by the communist regime, and how U.S. authorities can protect Cuban dissidents living in the United States.
