Many people would consider the hamster to be the essence of cuteness. They exude charm, from their physical characteristics- beady eyes, tiny paws, soft fluffy fur, and their expressions; to their personalities and behavior.
And while the scientific minds might try to explain our appreciation towards hamsters with complex terms like “neoteny” (The retention by adults of traits previously seen only in the young representatives of a species); We don’t need their explanations to appreciate them.
