What must life be like living in a pouch? Obviously, this little kangaroo baby seems to really enjoy it. Barely old enough for hopping around, this cute baby receives lots of kisses and affection from her momma kangaroo.
Amazingly, unlike other animals, kangaroo mothers are said to be able to determine the gender of their offspring. More than that, they can even freeze the development of an embryo until her previous baby is able to leave the pouch. For the kind of harsh living environments kangaroos find themselves in, these capabilities turn out to be quite helpful.
