It’s an exciting moment when a puppy meets another puppy. When this adorable puppy meets another puppy, he is so curious, wags his tail, and barks so joyfully to greet his new friend – at least this is what his mind seems to think is happening. In reality he’s of course barking at himself in the mirror. As dogs grow older, they often tend to get used to mirrors. Eventually, they usually lose interest in the scentless dog in the mirror.
Some dog owners said that their dogs are actually aware that the dog in the mirror is the dog itself. Yet, dogs don’t seem to show too much interest into their looks. Even spots made on their fur were reported to to have no impact on the dogs, as they do not seem to have much of a concept of a groomed appearance, according to scientific reports.
