Dad finds an innovative way to ‘breastfeed’ his daughter after her mother returns to work

A Florida-based dad has gained Internet plaudits for the extra special measures he went to to keep his breastfed new daughter happy and nourished.

After Chris Allen’s fiancée, Jennifer Capo, went back to work, Mr Allen dutifully took over the breastfeeding duties via an innovative solution that doesn’t involve him lactating.

Rather, Mr Allen cut a ‘discreet’ hole in his vest top and pushed baby Destiny’s bottle through it, filming the whole process and uploading it to Facebook.

‘Heh, I guess it’s like breastfeeding, right?’ Mr Allen smirks at the camera during the 15-second clip.
‘Gotta love it,’ he concluded.
The video was later shared by the Facebook group, Breastfeeding Mama Talk, and has since been viewed five and a half million times.

Perhaps surprisingly for such a novel idea, Mr Allen’s idea has been largely well received.
‘As funny as this was, I felt it was also heartwarming and shows dedication,’ the Facebook page’s founder, Kristy Kemp, writes.
‘I just loved it all the way around.’

‘Now that is one crafty daddy!,’ another person writes.

‘Kudos to him!,’ they conclude their post.
