David Franco stars in the upcoming “The LEGO Ninjago Movie.” He voices Lloyd, the lead character in the animated film.
Dave Franco didn’t mention LEGO when asked about what toys he enjoyed as a child.
“OK, what were my childhood toys? We played with Army Ants. Did you ever play with Army Ants? They’re these little ants with like a little squishy butt thing. It sounds weird, but it wasn’t as weird as I’m making it sound. Ninja Turtles were big. A lot more like figures fighting each other and us creating the narrative ourselves. So using our imagination a little bit,” said Franco.
He played neither with LEGO nor was he very fond of martial arts, despite voicing a movie that deals with both.
