Federal agents and local law enforcement conducted an operation at MacArthur Park in California on Wednesday night. Authorities said at least six people were arrested as part of an ongoing effort targeting drug activity in the area. Agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration, along with local law enforcement, entered the park around 8 p.m. Officials were seen stopping individuals, making arrests, and searching locations throughout the park. The operation is part of the second phase of the DEA's "Free MacArthur Park" initiative, a multi-phase effort launched in May to combat the sale of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other illegal drugs.
