Defense Secretary Ordered Military to Address ‘Extremism’

Newly appointed Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Wednesday, ordered a “stand-down” by all military units in the next 60 days, to give commanders time to address “extremism” in their ranks.

This comes after it was found that a number of military members and veterans attended the Jan. 6 protest, with some breaking into the capitol building.
