Demands to Strip Hikvision Cameras From UK

The government is under pressure to replace cameras made by the Chinese company Hikvision. The firm has been accused of being complicit in grave human rights violations in Xinjiang. Here in the U.K., Hikvision cameras are used inside government departments, local authorities, and schools. Lord Alton told the House of Lords that the company should be blacklisted from the U.K. procurement supply chain.
