Democrats Now ‘On the Defensive’: Trump Campaign Senior Adviser Reacts to Resounding Super Tuesday Outcomes

With Super Tuesday providing the results from 16 states and 1 territory, the nation’s biggest day of primary voting has moved the GOP a lot closer to selecting a candidate. NTD spoke to Lynne Patton, a senior adviser to former President Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, to get her reaction to the results.

Ms. Patton also said that neither the primary results nor the backdrop to Super Tuesday would have been what Democrats wanted to see, with the U.S. Supreme Court securing President Trump’s place on ballots nationwide just before the vote—putting President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign, she said, “on the defensive, instead of being on the offensive.”
