Denmark is making it easier for Chinese tourists to apply for and receive Danish visas.
“Now we have 12 visa centers in China, spread all over China. And, we have improved the process, so it now only takes three to five days for the Chinese to apply and get a visa, actually,” said Flemming Bruhn, director of VisitDenmark.
To celebrate the new visa rules, Copenhagen held Chinese-themed festivities.
The Tivoli Gardens, one of oldest amusement parks in the world, added Chinese elements to the park.
The Chinese love-story “Butterfly Lovers” is performed at the Pantomime Theater.
An advanced China-inspired virtual reality rollercoaster film premiered. It featured a Chinese universe with dragons, deep gorges, valleys, and high mountains.
In the evening, Chinese inspired fireworks can be enjoyed.
