DHS Secretary Visits Mexico for Talks on Border

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Mexican officials are discussing ways to reopen the U.S.–Mexico border. Immigration and border control were also items on the agenda. Meanwhile, Mexico is stepping up its vaccination efforts to secure its frontier, and a government agency says President Joe Biden’s halting the border wall construction didn’t violate the law.
