An Illinois judge fined Dish Network a whopping $280 million for telemarketing calls. It’s the largest fine ever for annoying calls.
A judge said that Dish Network called people on do-not-call lists, and others who opted out.
Dish Network mangement said it will fight the lawsuit. It claim the fine is excessive and that the calls were made to contracted companies.
