As vaccine mandates go into effect across the country, the signs of resistance from some employees are growing. We’re seeing lawsuits, job actions, and terminations. It’s affecting sectors from airlines and ferries, to fire departments, police forces, and the military. And also, frontline healthcare workers. That may surprise some people since clearly this group cannot be labelled anti-science. And they’ve also seen first-hand the worst of the pandemic.
Until a few weeks ago, Dr. Christopher Rake was an anesthesiologist at the UCLA Medical Center. But he was escorted from his workplace for not being vaccinated. A video of the episode went viral. He’s also started an organization, Citizens United For Freedom (CUFF) to bring like minded people together.
Dr. Rake explains why he’s willing to risk everything to oppose vaccine mandates and support medical freedom.
