Beth Chapman, known for starring in “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” isn’t expected to recover after being put in a medically-induced coma, according to a new report.

Chapman’s family is expecting the worst, according to TMZ,  citing sources close to the family.

According to the report, Chapman’s mother flew out to Hawaii to be by her daughter’s side. Beth Chapman’s children and grandchildren are also expected to attend.

At this time, not much can be done for Beth Chapman, and the family is seeking help from doctors to make medical decisions, according to the entertainment site.

Beth Chapman was hospitalized over the weekend after she was experiencing choking and difficulty breathing and was placed into a medically-induced coma.

She was previously diagnosed with lung cancer, according to the report.

“Please say your prayers for Beth right now thank you love you,” Duane Chapman wrote on Twitter at the time.

In his most recent post on Twitter, “Dog the Bounty Hunter” shared a photo of what appears to be a close-up of his wife’s right hand, carefully manicured and complete with rhinestones and fake nails, resting in the hospital bed.

“You all know how she is about HER NAILS!!” he captioned the photo late on Monday, June 24.

Shortly after, their daughter Bonnie Chapman echoed her father’s sentiments and also asked for prayers for her mother.

“Please continue to pray for my mom,” she wrote on Twitter.

In November 2017, Beth Chapman underwent successful emergency surgery to remove a tumor in her throat. However, in late 2018, doctors informed her that her cancer had returned.

“Another bend in the Road yet not the End of the Road,” she posted on Instagram at the time.

Following Beth Chapman’s emergency room visit, Duane Chapman gave an update to Us Weekly.

“They got most of the throat cancer out,” he told the outlet at the time. “Her airway is clear now, but the doctors are afraid that it has spread. They are doing a biopsy scan to check if it has spread. I told them I need to know right away and they’re going to get me the results by tomorrow. Hopefully it hasn’t spread. Last time it didn’t spread at all, so we’re hoping the same thing.”

In May, she issued a statement for the first time about her fight with cancer.

“Fighting cancer is the toughest battle I’ve ever been in,” the 51-year-old said, according to Page Six. “But my faith in God and the love of my family is helping me through.”

On Mother’s Day, Beth told People magazine that her cancer diagnosis has been “the ultimate test of faith.”

“I don’t go to God and go, ‘Why did I get cancer?'” she said. “He’ll roll his eyes at me again, because I know why—because this is the ultimate test of faith. It is the evidence of things hoped for and it is the substance of things not known.”
