The Justice Department (DOJ) is beginning the process of replacing the federal prosecutors Trump appointed, paving the way for president Joe Biden to install his own nominees to lead U.S. attorneys offices across the country. But two officials have not been asked to resign—including Delaware U.S. attorney David Weiss, who is investigating Hunter Biden’s taxes, and special counsel John Durham, who is investigating the origins of the counterintelligence probe into Trump and Russia.
