There was a sighting of a massive alligator in Florida Nature Preserve.
Kim Joiner, who lives in Polk County, was spending some time at Lakeland’s Circle B Bar and Reserve. That was when she sighted this massive alligator. She just took out her camera and captured the jaw dropping sight on video and uploaded it.
It is not uncommon at all to get to see an alligator in the southern states of America. Especially in Florida, encounters with alligators tend to be rather frequent. Millions of alligators are believed to still live there. Male alligators can become gigantic – up to 15 feet large with a weight of up to 1,000 pounds. Joiner estimated that the alligator she saw must have been around 12 feet long.
