Dramatic Video Features 9-Year-Old Hero Catching Baby Dangerously Falling Down

In the split second that Levi was distracted, little Eitan started to roll over.

His legs dangled over the table, and suddenly he plunged to the ground.

However, it is here that something remarkable occurred.

At the exact moment Eitan fell from the table, his big brother Joseph was walking by.

Joseph launched himself towards his helpless brother and caught him, saving the baby from an agonizing blow, all of which was caught on camera by home surveillance footage:

What’s even more amazing than his timely catch was the fact that prior to this, Joseph had never been able to hold the weight of his 30-pound baby brother.

After the startling incident, Levi came rushing to their aid. While Eitan was fine, Joseph was “shaken up.”

In an interview with 7 News Miami after the amazing save, Joseph told reporters:

“I would have never caught him and I can’t run that fast.

So I felt like something came and just pushed me forward and then when that happened I just ran and caught him.”

Later adding:

“I would never be able to do that again because I can’t carry my brother.”

The shaken up mother believes that perhaps an “angel pushed” him:

“It’s almost like someone pushed him over their and said, go do what you got to do.

I do believe in God, I do believe in miracles, I’ve just never seen one first hand just in front of my face.”

As for why she chose to finally come out with the video, Levi explained that she thinks it could potentially save another child’s life, telling reporters:

“Obviously I am more careful, but at the end of the day, it happens in a second, and I think that all of our lives can change in a second.”

Since the incident, Levi and her husband said they have watched the video hundreds of times to see what went wrong and how to make sure nothing like that ever happens again.
