Following Beth Chapman’s first memorial service in Hawaii over the weekend, Duane “Dog” Chapman has announced the second one.

He announced on Twitter the second memorial is “tentatively scheduled” for July 13 in Denver, Colorado, where the couple shared a second home.

“Love you all and thank you very much for the support you have been giving for Beth,” Chapman wrote on Twitter.

He added the second memorial is an opportunity “to tuck her in, tell her goodnight, for she sleepeth.”

The first memorial service occurred in Hawaii on Saturday, June 29, following Beth Chapman’s death a few days prior.

Beth Chapman was placed into a medically-induced coma on June 22 amidst her battle with lung cancer. She passed away on Wednesday morning. She was 51.

On June 26, Duane Chapman wrote on Twitter about his wife’s passing.

“It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side,” he wrote at the time.

On Saturday, family and friends honored Beth Chapman with a prayer and then a paddle out at Waikiki’s Fort DeRussy Beach in Hawaii. The ceremony was open to the public and attendees were asked to bring loose flowers, rather than leis, so as not to harm the ocean.

“Those wishing to post photos and videos are asked to tag with #alohaoemrsdog,” the family said, according to Fox News. “Oe means ‘you’ in Hawaiian. It is customary to say, ‘Aloha ‘Oe’ especially when saying farewell. There is a song by the same name which Hawaiians often sing at the end of a party, funerals, or when people are leaving the islands.”

Following the first memorial, daughter Lyssa Chapman opened up about the mourning process on Instagram.

“Someone wake me up from this awful dream. I have no words. Still in disbelief. Pray for our family, as we lost our strongest member,” she wrote.

Duane Chapman also spoke about the mourning process following his wife’s death.

“You kind of try to remember that you’re celebrating life, but right now we’re mourning the death,” he said.

“For a few years we knew this day would come,” he continued. However, it was still a shock when Beth Chapman passed away.

“It came really unexpected, really fast. All of her clothes, her make-up, everything. We didn’t prepare,” he said.

Several people took to social media to let know Duane Chapman how much his wife had influenced their lives.

“She save me 8 years ago from suicide I’m in Florida wish I could be there,” one person wrote.

“Remember this always …….. she didn’t leave you ……… she just went before you,” another wrote. “When you meet again it is for eternity . Peace to you Duane and your family always !”

Another commented, “Yes..she is only sleeping… Thank you for sharing her with us… I am watching the marathon in her memory.”
