Duane “Dog” Chapman’s first teaser trailer for “Dog’s Most Wanted” was just released, promising another season of crime fighting despite his wife battling cancer.
The trailer opens up with “Dog the Bounty Hunter” addressing his wife, Beth Chapman’s battle with cancer.
“My wife, the love of my life, is fighting for her life,” he said. “And instead of being at home helping her, I’m out here looking for you. So I’m warning you in advance, may God have mercy on you when I catch you, because I won’t.”
“You’ve been warned,” his wife added.
The first unscripted series on WGN America in over five years, “Dog’s Most Wanted” 10-part series follows Dog and Chapman, as well as his elite team of professionals, The Dirty Dozen, as they hunt down criminals who appear on FBI, U.S. Marshals’, and States’ Most Wanted Fugitives lists throughout the country to bring them to justice, according to the site.

In September 2017, 51-year-old Beth was diagnosed with stage II throat cancer, which her husband confirmed at the time. She endured aggressive treatment and her prognosis briefly looked good. But a year later, Beth was rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery to clear a throat blockage.
The cancer had returned.

Following Beth’s emergency room visit, Duane gave an update to Us Weekly.
“They got most of the throat cancer out,” he told Us Weekly at the time. “Her airway is clear now, but the doctors are afraid that it has spread. They are doing a biopsy scan to check if it has spread. I told them I need to know right away and they’re going to get me the results by tomorrow. Hopefully it hasn’t spread. Last time it didn’t spread at all, so we’re hoping the same thing.”
On Mother’s Day, Beth told People magazine that her cancer diagnosis has been “the ultimate test of faith.”
“I don’t go to God and go, ‘Why did I get cancer?'” she said. “He’ll roll his eyes at me again, because I know why—because this is the ultimate test of faith. It is the evidence of things hoped for and it is the substance of things not known.”

Recently, Duane tracked down and captured a most wanted criminal in Rocky Ford, Colorado, on May 8.
“We are cleaning up America, one city at a time,” Duane said in an Instagram video prior to the man’s arrest.
Leonard Trujillo Jr. was wanted for first-degree assault in El Paso County and for missing a court date in Otero County, according to Rocky Ford police, reported the La Junta Tribune.
“This guy’s record is horrendous. He has terrorized this peaceful town enough. He tried to run—but you can’t hide from me! We are making America safe again,” Chapman said in a statement, according to PopCulture.
Chapman added that Trujillo “has mile-long rap sheet including armed robbery, assault on a police officer, bank robbery, drug charges, and forgery.”
Chapman also wrote on Twitter in January, “Crime in America is skyrocketing! Criminals are finding it easier to avoid the system.”
