A team from a top Dutch university is managing construction. The team won funding from an Elon Musk sponsored contest. This new facility will allow testing of all low-speed systems. An additional round of funding will allow high-speed tests.
The team plans on a 2021 hyperloop opening. It will transport people directly from Amsterdam to Paris.
