A tulip growing couple from the Netherlands planted an entire tulip field in Italy. The U-pick tulip field allows visitors to take home a few or a bunch of tulips of different colors and varieties. The field opened on March 28, and will stay open until the tulips are no longer in bloom, in about three to four weeks. The couple expects 25,000 visitors.

Nearby resident Rita Pirovano talks about her feelings about the flowers, having witnessed them grow.

“Joy, joy, yes to see all these colors and these beautiful tulips, it opens your soul, it gives you a 360 degree view of colors around you and it’s like being in the Netherlands, in another world with all the tulips.”
