Easter Egg Prices Shoot Up, People Buying Fewer

Shoppers paid more for their chocolate eggs this year—a reflection of the increase in cocoa prices. Research firm Kantar said people who purchased chocolate eggs bought just four or more items when stocking up for Easter, compared to around six last year. People in Wales were the biggest spenders, shelling out an average of £14.18 on Easter eggs.
