Economist Discusses Debt Ceiling Increase: Is There Another Way Forward?

A GOP-led bill to increase the national debt ceiling passed the U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday. Although it will likely die in the Senate, the negotiations surrounding the bill demonstrate bipartisan support for increasing the national debt. Is more debt the only way to deal with the nation’s economic situation? NTD spoke with Jeffrey Tucker, founder and president of the Brownstone Institute, to dig deeper.
