New York gubernatorial candidate Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.) is rallying Jewish voters, and the largest voting bloc in Brooklyn’s Borough Park, the Bobov Hasidic Sect, endorsed Zeldin even while supporting other Democratic candidates. NTD speaks to Rabbi Yaakov Menken, the managing director of the Coalition for Jewish Values, for analysis. Menken says the state’s board of education is going down the wrong road, and Gov. Kathy Hochul has not stepped in, whereas Zeldin has spoken out about this. Menken says parents do not want to lose their choice in terms of yeshiva education.
