Making Egyptian Stuffed Pizza Is One Entertaining Show

The process of making this Egyptian treat is akin to Italian pizza makers throwing their pizza dough in the air. Feteer is a traditional stuffed pastry made from dough that is stretched ultra thin. In the video above, chefs are stretching out the pliable dough by spinning them multiple times in the air, before plopping it back on the cooking counter.

Feteer can be sweet or savory, whether filled with nuts, raisins, and honey, or meats, vegetables, and cheese. After they get cooked in the oven, the feteer turns golden brown, with flaky, crispy layers. Once the whole pie is cut into little squares, the pastry can be easily shared with loved ones and friends alike.
