The successful Netflix show “Emily in Paris” has drawn more attention to the French capital, its design, architecture, and the Parisian way of life. However, many Paris residents found the show far removed from their lived experience. Others, however, hope the city would look more like the one portrayed in the show. NTD talked to activists whose mission is to protect the city’s iconic places and architecture.
