How ‘Trumpism’ Becomes the Media’s Only Weapon | Larry Elder
Recently, Virginia elected a Republican governor and a Republican lieutenant governor. After the California gubernatorial recall election, many pundits, as well as Larry’s opponent’s campaign manager, pushed the narrative that “Larry Elder was a gift” to Gov. Gavin Newsom. The argument goes that a kinder, gentler (black) Republican, who distanced himself from the loathsome Donald Trump, would have made all the difference in the world, despite the fact that 75 percent of California voters are registered as Democrats or Independents. But how they treated Glenn Youngkin and Winsome Sears in Virginia proves they would have treated any Republican in California the same way.
