Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of missing woman Jennifer Dulos, was arrested Tuesday, his attorney Norm Pattis said. He faces charges of capital murder, murder, and kidnapping, a source close to the investigation said.
The Connecticut mother of five has been missing since May.
The couple was involved in a contentious child custody battle at that time.
Dulos has been previously arrested in the case for tampering with evidence.
He was charged in June for trying to clean up suspected blood spatter in Jennifer Dulos’s home.
A “blood-like substance” was also found in the vehicle Dulos was driving the day his wife disappeared.
Prosecutors are also charging Dulos’s former girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, and his civil attorney, Kent Mawhinney, for conspiracy to commit murder.
