Four and half years after British people voted to leave the European Union, The EU and UK have reached a post-Brexit trade deal. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson now has what is believed to be the best scenario for the island nation. Johnson says the deal will protect jobs across the UK and is good for the whole of Europe. However, EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyan had a somewhat less jubilant response to the deal. British lawmakers will vote on the Brexit deal on Dec. 30.
