EU Chief’s Silence on Pfizer Texts Criticized

Despite repeated requests for Ursula Von Der Leyen to release text messages she exchanged with Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, the EU commission president remains silent to this day. The messages could include details on the bloc’s deals to purchase billions of euros worth of COVID vaccines. A Romanian MEP calls the commission’s failure to release the messages the “biggest corruption coverup in the history of the EU.”
