EU leaders offer condolences to Sweden truck attack victims

EU officials offered condolences both at conferences and on social media after a truck drove into a crowd of people on a busy Stockholm street. The area had to be evacuated and cordoned off, with subway service halted.

 
The Swedish prime minister said that the attack appears to be a terrorist incident. Three people were killed and eight were wounded in the incident.
