EU leaders want to limit the impact of Brexit. Leaders from Germany, Slovakia, and Czech Republic are discussing how to limit Britain’s control over the terms of Brexit.

They do not want Brexit to have a negative impact on the 27 member states of the EU.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel talked about Brexit’s impact.

“The exit of Great Britain is an incision for the European Union, it’s an unfortunate event, you could say. We want to limit the damage but there will naturally be some negative impact. And so it is even more important that the remaining 27 member states—hree of them stand here today—stick together to improve the competitiveness, our future effectiveness, and openness of the European Union.”
