EU Urges Nations to Require Negative COVID-19 Tests for Arrivals From China

The European Union is strengthening border control toward arrivals from China.

An EU Commission spokesperson said the overwhelming majority of EU member countries favor a new measure—virus testing passengers from China before they can board a plane.

On top of that, the EU has set out a number of other rules and would like to see its 28 member states putting them into practice, but for now it’s not a mandate.
