Senate Republicans recently voted against President Joe Biden’s $100 billion dollar supplemental aid package, demanding tougher immigration controls at the border with Mexico.
NTD spoke to Lora Ries, director of the Border Security and Immigration Center at The Heritage Foundation. She said the Biden administration was seeking funding to continue with business as usual at the southern border.
“One more dollar given to this administration is just going to accelerate what we’ve been seeing the past 3 years, and that is millions of illegal aliens coming into this country,” she said.
