Expert: ‘Corporatism’ Is Bad, Not Capitalism

Seventy percent of millennials are living paycheck to paycheck, according to one survey. Some young people blame the economy or the economic system for their challenges—it’s capitalism’s fault.

Lance Roberts, chief strategist at Real Investment Advice, agrees the system is making most people poorer, but he says it’s because we’ve moved away from free-market capitalism to corporatism. Government policies and decisions are shielding big corporations from failure, at the expense of smaller businesses and wages in general. NTD asked him about it.
