Expert: Disney to Be Taxed More, Not Citizens

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said on Friday that Disney would pay more taxes as he signed a bill into law dissolving Disney World’s special status—a status that had allowed the company to operate the region around its Orlando-area theme parks as an independent government.

But now, some say it’s the state’s residents who will foot the bill.
