Expert on Kentucky’s Fight Against ESG

Kentucky is the latest state to go after banks deemed hostile to the fossil fuel industry. The state’s treasurer on Tuesday put 11 banks on notice, including Blackrock, JP Morgan, and Citigroup. She said the banks are boycotting fossil fuel companies and if they don’t stop, Kentucky could start divesting from the firms.

NTD spoke with Will Hild, executive director at Consumers’ Research, to talk about Kentucky’s decision.
