Expert: Statues Need to Be Viewed and Understood in Historical Context

There has been a leftist, Marxist undercurrent in the United States that seeks to change or erase history as we know it—such as the 1619 Project that was endorsed by The New York Times, as well as the Marxist revolutionaries who are targeting statues from Abraham Lincoln to Jesus Christ. NTD spoke to historian Phil Magness about some of the real underlying reasons these statues are being targeted.
