Facebook Whistleblower Urges Government Oversight

Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen is urging governmental oversight of Facebook’s announcement to scrap its facial recognition system. Before a meeting with Germany’s justice minister, she said such a step is necessary to make sure the company does what it has promised. Earlier in the week, she also urged her former boss Mark Zuckerberg to step down and make way for changes.
